This was a match where Barca dominated, apart from the first 5-10 minutes, where Ronaldo had some “Ambitious” if not silly shots. Barca took the lead in the 10th minute where Andres Iniesta made a great run to breeze passed a couple of Man Utd players, then passed it to Eto’o who then cut inside and poked it into the net. With Man Utd needing a goal, Barca kept possession for the rest of the first half, making it very difficult for Man Utd. The second half also started well for Barca, with Xavi Hernandez hitting the post from a freekick. Although he was unlucky, he then made a perfect cross for Lionel Messi, who headed over van der Sar and into the back of the net. Barca held out for a well deserved victory.
