Xavi is playing for Barcelona. He has been playing only for them since his debut. A lot of offers have been thrown against him by many clubs. But he had rejected all those offers. That’s because he loves to play for his favourite team, the so called Barca. 

Xavi was born on 1980 at Terrassa in Spain. He is a very good defensive midfielder. He got a chance to play in the 2002 and 2006 worlds cups which were held at Japan and Germany respectively. It was in 1997 when Xavi joined the youth club, Barcelona B. Xavi was a member of the Spain team which won the FIFA World Youth Championship in the year 1999.

Xavi’s debut match in the senior team was in the Spanish Super Cup. He was able to score a goal in the first match. Thus this young player became a real super hero of that time. Months and years have gone. Xavi started becoming more and more popular. His international experience has also increased a lot. He is now no more a newbie to football. This way, Xavi started to become an integral part of Fc Barcelona as well. The team manager and coach had great faith on him. He didn’t disappointed them in any of the matches. Being a defender, he is well aware of his duties. In some mathces, he even takes the role of a midfielder.
