Eric Abidal is a footaller from France. He is playing for the spanish club Barcelona. He is one of the best backs at the moment. He gets chances to play in almost all of the matches. However, he is not an attacking defender, and so, he didn’t scored any goals in the league matches. But he has saved a lot of goals for his team.

Abidal played in the FIFA world cup of 2006 for France. He did well playing as one of the defenders. He usually plays as left back, where he does a lot of damage for the oppositions. So far he played 40 matches for the international team.
