It is one of the largest in Europe accomodating about 99,000 people. But, it is not the largest stadium in the world. This stadium got this name in the year 2000. And earlier it was Estadi del FC Barcelona. You may find mini pitches in the stadium, which can be utilized during the training matches. There is a memorabilia shop as well in the stadium for the players as well as for other staffs and visitors. There is a chapel exclusively for the players. You may find a museum in the stadium which gets visited by people all around the world. About 1 million people visit the museum each year.

These are some of the things that make Camp Nou more than just a stadium. Works has already started to make this stadium even better. Contracts for the same have been given to an architect from Britain for increasing the seating capacity and also for changing the over all look of the stadium by all means. The estimated budget for this contract is about 250 million Euros. We can hope that Camp Nou would be one of the best stadiums in the world soon.
