Lescott gets the champagne, Yaya gets the Glory! – “I don’t drink cos I am Muslim”
Yaya Toure after being handed the man of the match bottle rejects the man of the match champagne (alcohol) bottle after winning the game for Manchester City vs Newcastle United at the Sports Direct Arena on 6/5/12 due to his religious beliefs in Islam. Toure is a devout Muslim and one of the world's best midfield players. Previously with FC Barcelona, Yaya Toure from the Ivory Coast now plays for Manchester City in the English Premier League.
